Pena en San Vicente.

En esta tarde-noche, si el tiempo lo permite, pocos minutos después de las ocho, Nuestro Padre Jesús de las Penas saldrá de la Iglesia de San Vicente camino de la Santa Iglesia Catedral. Algunos metros por detrás irá su madre, henchida de dolor, bajo la advocación de María Santísima de los Dolores.
Como vemos en esta imagen, el paso está  preparado para su salida. Jesús es representado en una de las tres caídas de su via crucis hacia el Gólgota donde le esperaba la crucifixión. Su mano derecha se apoya en el suelo mientras con la izquierda aguanta el peso del madero.
La imagen fue tallada en el siglo XVII por alguno de los escultores pertenecientes al círculo del maestro Pedro  Roldán.

In this evening, if the weather allows it, a few minutes after eight o'clock, Our Father Jesus de las Penas will go out of San Vicente's Church way to the Holy Church Cathedral. Some meters behind his mother, filled with pain, will go, under the advocation of Maria Santísima de los Dolores.
As we see in this image, the small altarpiece is prepared for his exit. ç
Jesus is represented in one of three falls of his via crucis towards the Golgota Mount where he will be crucifixed.
His right hand rests on the floor while with the left hand bears the weight of the crux.
The image was carved in the 17th century by some of the sculptors belonging to the circle of the teacher Pedro Roldan.
