Palacio venido a menos.

El Palacio de Pumarejo fue propiedad de Don Pedro Pumarejo quien mandó edificarlo en el siglo XVIII.
Hoy no tiene función palacial y en su interior viven algunas familias distribuidas por las estancias que circinvalan al patio central.
La discusión entre el Ayuntamiento y los vecinos para definir el futuro del palacio han provocado un deterioro en su estructura y adecentamiento exterior como podemos ver en la foto.

The Pumarejo´s Palace was a property of Don Pedro Pumarejo who gave the orders to build it in the 18th century.
Today it does not have function to be a palatial building and in its interior some families distributed by the stays that is around the central court live in it.
The discussion between the Town hall and the neighbors to define the future of the palace have provoked a deterioration in the structure and walls as we can see in the photo.

La Casa de la Paz.

Paseaba por la célebre Plaza del Pumarejo cuando reparé en esta puerta de, en principio, apariencia militar donde se recrea un control de paso entre el estado de israel y la tierra de Palestina en el punto de Belén.
Luego me acerqué y descubrí un pequeño azulejo donde se reflejaba el verdadero sentido de este establecimiento de reunión y debate, era la llamada "Casa de la Paz" que pertenece a organizaciones pacíficas y antimilitaristas como MOC (Movimiento de Objección de Conciencia), "Mujeres de negro" y "Red Paz".

I was walking along the famous Pumarejo Square when I repaired in this door of, at first, military appearance where there is a  check-point control between Israel and Palestine in the point of Bethlehem.
Then I approached and discovered a small ceramic plate in the wall where was reflecting the real sense of this establishment for meeting and debate, it was the so called "House of the Peace" that belongs to pacific and antimilitarists organizations as MOC (Objección's of Conscience Movement), "Women in black" and "Network Peace".

La Bodega Soto.

En la Calle San Luís, muy cerca de la Plaza del Pumarejo, me encontré con este simpático azulejo anunciando la Bodega Soto, un bar con solera que da de beber al barrio de la Macarena.
En el azulejo podemos ver una escena típica de nuestra Andalucía de los siglos XVIII y XIX.

In the San Luis Street, very near of the Pumarejo´s Square, I found this tipical advertisement on the wall. This advertisement announced the Soto Wine Bar, a bar with crossbeam that it gives something to drink to the neighborhood of La Macarena.
In the wall we can see a typical scene of our Andalusia of the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries.
