Grecia, la revista de literatura con este nombre comienza a publicarse quincenalmente en Sevilla a partir de 1918 bajo la dirección de Isaac del Vando Villar, un poeta de Albaida del Aljarafe que ayudó a poner las bases del Ultraísmo literario.
El Ultraísmo es un movimiento exclusivamente literario nacido en España en 1918 con la declarada intención de enfrentarse al modernismo imperante en este momento y que había dominado la poesía en lengua española desde fines del siglo XIX.
En el número 18 de la Calle Viriato podemos ver este azulejo donde se conmemora el ochenta aniversario de la creación de este movimiento en Sevilla señalando el lugar donde ilustres poetas (Adriano del Valle, Guillermo de Torre, Pedro Garfias, Xavier Bóveda, Cansinos-Assens, entre otros) redactaban sus colaboraciones con la Revista Grecia que, como dice el azulejo, era bandera en España de esta nueva corriente poética.
Su primer número ve la luz el día 12 de octubre de 1918. Se publicaba cada dos semanas. Desde el número catorce, la publicación sería decenal. En ella publicaron escritores de fama universal como Federico García Lorca, Jorge Luís Borges, Ramón Gómez de la Serna o Vicente Aleixandre.
En 1920 se traslada la redacción a Madrid aunque el propio Del Vando tuvo que cerrarla después de sus 50 números.
