Alcázar (6): El Patio de la Montería.

Cruzando el Muro almohade por cualquiera de los tres arcos nos introducimos en el Patio de la Montería, centro neurálgico del Alcázar.

La pared de enfrente es la fachada del Palacio de Pedro I, el que desde el punto de vista artístico tiene mayor valor.

A la derecha tenemos a la Casa de la Contratación, un edificio que se divide en dos partes, el Palacio alto, arriba, y la Sala del Almirante, en l parte baja.

A la izquierda está la entrada que va al patio del Crucero.

Los 1.300 metros cuadrado depatio tienen forma trapezoidal y el suelo está fabricado en ladrillo y piedra caliza.

En uno de sus extremos existe una pequeña fuente que surte de agua al visitante. En la otra hay restos del susuelo de la muralla.

Crossing the almohade Wall for any of three arches we get in the Court of the Hunt, neuralgic center of the Alcazar.

The wall in the front faces it is the front of the Palace of Pedro I, which from the artistic point of view has major value. To the right we have the House of the Contracting, a building that is divided in two parts, the high Palace, and the Room of the Admiral, in the down part.

To the left side there is the entry that goes to the court of the Cruise.1.300 meters squared of court have trapezoidal form and the soil is made of brick and limestone. In one of his points there is a small fountain that supplies of water to the visitor. In other one there are remains of the subsoil of the wall.
