El edificio en el que se ubica la sede de la Fundación San Telmo en Sevilla es una de las obras de mayor importancia que realizó el arquitecto D. Antonio Gómez Millán. Comenzando las obras en 1914.
El proyecto fue promovido desde un principio por personas preocupadas por los niños abandonados de Sevilla, destacando la Junta Protectora de Niños Expósitos y su Presidenta, la Condesa de Lebrija, que cedió la llamada Huerta de San Jorge a la Diputación, para la construcción de la nueva Casa Cuna Provincial.
La Capilla, que podemos ver en la foto, fue bendecida el 14 de Octubre de 1922, con la asistencia del rey Alfonso XII y la reina Victoria Eugenia.
Hasta 1989 aún estaba ocupado por las Hermanas de la Caridad, encargadas del cuidado de estas residencias desde 1938. En Junio de 1990 la Excma. Diputación de Sevilla cedió el edificio a la Fundación San Telmo para que constituyese su sede.
