Con vistas al océano.

Como ya sabéis, el Galeón Andalucía está fondeado en el Muelle de las Delicias de nuestro río Guadalquivir. Pero me gustaría enseñaros esta imagen de la popa del barco.
Me imagino al capitán en este balcón, en un atardecer oceánico, disfrutando del movimiento de las olas del mar mientras inhala el humo de un puro habano con una copa de ron en la mano.

You have to know that the Galleon Andalusia is anchored in the Delicias Wharf of our Guadalquivir River. But I would like to show you this image of the stern of the ship.
I imagine the captain in this balcony, in an oceanic late afternoon, enjoying the movement of the waves of the sea while he inhales the smoke of a Havana cigar with a glass of rum in the hand.

Cañonazos.

¿Alguna vez has pensado cómo se ve la guerra desde un cañon del siglo XV o XVI? Aquí tienes la imagen, la visión de los cañonero era mínima y sólo atendían a cebar los cañones sin mirar hacia dónde dirigían sus disparos. Este cañón pertenece al Galeón Andalucía.

Have you thought sometimes how you see the war from a 15th o 16th century cannon? Here you have the image, the vision of the cannon man was minimal and only he can attend to feed the cannons without looking to where they were directing their shots. This cannon belongs to the Galleon Andalusia.

Una imagen única.

Desde el Galeón Andalucía pude tomar esta foto en la que vemos, separados por los palos del barco, aun lado la Giralda y al otro la Torre del Oro, dos de los símbolos de la ciudad.

From the Andalucia Galleon I could take this photo in which we see, separated by the woods of the ship, even side the Giralda and to other one the Tower of the Gold, two of the symbols of the city.

El Galeón Andalucía.

Durante estos días, los sevillanos tenenmos la suerte de poder disfrutar de una réplica a tamaño original de un galeón del siglo XVII. La "Fundación NaoVictoria" ha construido este barco según unos planos de hace cuatro siglos para llevarlo a la Exposición Universal de Shanghai en representación de Andalucía.
La próxima semana iniciará su navegación hacia el Canal de Suez. Después, tras tocar tierra en Hong Kong, permanecerá en Shanghai durante toda la exposición.

During these days, the Sevillian people have a luck to enjoy a reply of a 17th century galleon. The "Foundation NaoVictoria" has constructed this ship according to a planes of four centuries ago to take it to the Universal Exhibition of Shanghai in representation of Andalusia.
Next week it will initiate the navigation towards the Suez Canal. Later, after taking land in Hong Kong, it will remain in Shanghai during the exhibition.

Día de Andalucía.

Hoy día 28 de Febrero es el día de Andalucía, la región donde está situada nuestra querida Sevilla. Aquí podemos ver la bandera andaluza culminado el palo mayor de un barco excepcional. De él hablaremos mañana.
