Nada suena tan bello como tu Dulce Nombre.

Esta noche, poco después de las ocho y si el tiempo lo permite, la Hermandad de la Bofetá pondrá rumbo a la Santa Iglesia Catedral para hacer su estación de penitencia.

Tras el misterio de Jesús ante Anás (más conocido por "La Bofetá"), irá su madre con la denominación más bella que puede tener, la de María Santísima del Dulce Nombre.

La imagen realizada por Castillo Lastrucci en 1924 va acompañada por San Juan quien consuela su dolor.

Cuenta la leyenda que Castillo Lastrucci para la realización de la obra tomó como modelo a una bella joven del barrio de San Vicente de muy dudosa reputación. 

Como el parecido era enorme y la feligresía la identificaban con ella, la hermandad le pidió al artista que la retocara para cambiarle algunos rasgos.

El imaginero sustituyó los ojos por otros de cristal, modificó las manos y varió la encarnadura de los labios.

This night, soon after eight o'clock and if the weather allows it, the Brotherhood of the Bofetá (slap in the face) will go to the Holy Church Cathedral to do their station of penance.
After Jesus before Anás mystery (more known by "The Bofetá"), his mother will go with the most beautiful name that can have, that of Maria Santísima of the Sweet Name.
The image realized by Castillo Lastrucci in 1924 is accompanied by Saint John who consoles her pain.
The legend says that Castillo Lastrucci, for the accomplishment of the work, took like model to a beautiful young woman of San Vicente's neighborhood with very doubtful reputation.
As the similarity with this woman was enormous and the parish  were identifying to the Virgin with her, the brotherhood asked the artist to retouch her some features to change her.
The maker of religious images replaced the eyes with others of crystal, modified the hands and changed the lips.
