El "Manué".

La madrugá del Viernes Santo fue un maná de ilusión con todas las cofradías en la calle.
Cuando la Macarena decidió salir y puso su cruz de guía en la puerta de su basílica, todos sabíamos que el resto de cofradías iban a tomar semejante decisión.
El tiempo meteorológico nos daba una tregua de, al menos doce horas, las suficientes para que El Silencio y El Gran Poder no corrieran riesgo alguno de mojarse.
Una tras otra, las hermandades comenzaron su estación de penitencia a la hora establecida. Entre todas y con la participación de unos sevillanos deseosos de verlas en la calle, podemos afirmar que la madrugá del 2012 fue un auténtico éxito.
El último en salir de su templo del Valle fue la Hermandad de los Gitanos, con sus titulares, el Señor de la Salud y Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, al frente.
Ya, de mañana, el Señor de la Salud, más conocido por sus hermanos como el "Manué", presentaba esta figura bajo un sol resplandeciente.
Esta imagen es una de las joyas del neobarroco sevillano. Es una talla de 167 cms. de altura realizada por José Manuel Rodríguez Fernández Andes.
Su color de piel responde a las características étnicas de la raza que representa.

The madrugá (late night) of the Good Friday was a manna of illusion with all the confraternities in the street. When the Brotherhood of Macarena decided to go out and put its guide's cross in the door of the church, we all knew that the rest of brotherhoods were going to take similar decision.
The weather was giving us a truce of, at least twelve hours, the sufficient time in order that The Silence and The Great Power Lords were not traversing any risk of being wetted.
One after other one, the brotherhoods began their station of penance at the established hour. Between all and with the participation of the Sevillian people anxious of seeing them in the street, we can affirm that the madrugá of 2012 was an authentic success.
The last one to go out of his temple of the Valley was the Brotherhood of the Gypsies, with his holders, the Lord of the Health and Our Lady of the Distresses, to the front.
Already, in the early morning, the Lord of the Health, more known by his brothers as the "Manué", was presenting this figure under the shining Sun.
