Las tranquilas aguas del río.

El río Guadalquivir, como muchos de ustedes ya saben, es, de los grandes ríos de España, el único que es navegable.

Lo podemos ver en la foto, donde los turistas, a bordo del Luna Guadalquivir, disfrutan de un paseo por las tranquilas aguas del río, disfrutando de las hermosas vistas de las orillas y explorando los diferentes puentes que los sobrevuelan.

El hecho de ser navegable fue, en otro tiempo, motivo de riqueza para la ciudad. Esta era la razón por la cual los galeones españoles repletos de oro y plata venían de América y no se quedaban en la costa de Cádiz, sino que subían río arriba hasta la ciudad hispalense.

The river Guadalquivir, like many of you already know, it is, of the big rivers of Spain, the only one that is navigable.

We can see it in the photo, where the tourists, on board of the Luna Guadalquivir, enjoy a walk along the calm waters of the river, enjoying of beautiful sight of the shores and exploring the different bridges that overfly it.

The fact of being navigable was, in another time, a motive of wealth for the city. This one was the reason for which the Spanish galleons replete with gold and silver were coming from America and were not remaining on the coast of Cadiz, but they were rising upthe river to the Sevillian city.
