El Patio de las Doncellas.

En Sevilla tenemos el Palacio Real más antiguo de Europa: el Alcázar, un palacio con mezcla de estilos arquitectónicos en el que destaca el arte mudéjar. En concreto este patio es el Patio de las Doncellas, el mejor ejemplo de este estilo en el Alcázar.
Es un patio de forma rectangular, presenta en la planta baja, arcos lobulados sobre dobles columnas de mármol y en la planta superior, arcos de medio punto sobre columnillas jónicas de mármol. En medio del mismo tenemos una alberca que refresca el ambiente del mismo. A ambos lados de la misma hay tres naranjos.
En tres de los lados del patio se abren las habitaciones que componen la planta baja del palacio mudéjar, el cuarto de los lados está adosado al palacio de Alfonso X, posterior al mudéjar, por lo que sólo presenta las galerías que cierran el patio.

In concrete this court is the Court of the Maidens (Patio de las Doncellas), the best example of this style in the Fortress.It is a court of rectangular form, presents in the ground floor, arches on double columns of marble and in the top floor, round arches on smalls ionic columns in marbles. In the middle of the same one we have a pond that refreshes the environment of the same one. On both sides of the same one there are three orange trees.
In three of the sides of the court there are open rooms that compose the ground floor of the Mudejar palace. The quarter room of the sides is attached to the Alfonso X Palace, later to the Mudejar.
