En los jardines adyacentes a la Plaza de la Maestranza (ahora llamada Glorieta de Curro Romero), junto a la puerta del Tendido 8 de Sol, el histórico matador Curro Romero tiene el monumento que la ciudad de Sevilla le ha dedicado por su arte y ejecutoria toreril.
El monumento lo realizó en bronce el escultor Sebastián Santos Calero representando al diestro en un desplante que realizó ante un toro de Gabriel Rojas en la Feria de Abril de 1984.
El jardín que lo rodea está sembrado de romero, la planta que siempre acompañó a sus incondicionales.

In the adjacent gardens to Maestranza Bullring, close to the door number 8 of Sun, the historical bullfighter Curro Romero has the monument that the city of Seville has dedicated him cause of his art and executorship in the bullring.
The monument was done in bronze by the sculptor Sebastián Santos Calero representing the bullfighter in a rudeness that he realized before Gabriel Rojas's bull in the Fair of April, 1984.
