Del Postigo al Cielo.

Junto al Arco del Postigo del Aceite podemos ver este azulejo de reconocimiento a la vida (y a la muerte) de un costalero del Santísimo Cristo de las Aguas.
En 1999, el lunes santo de esa semana, 29 de Marzo, bajo la cuarta trabajadera del paso de Cristo de la Hermandad de las Aguas, el costalero Juan Carlos Montes Ruiz sufrió un infarto a pocos metros del Arco del Postigo cuando ya la hermandad iba en recogida tras el paso por la Catedral. Era la una de la mañana y los servicios sanitarios hicieron esfuerzos baldíos por recuperar el pulso del costalero.
El corazón de Juan Carlos, de 36 años, hermano número 340 de la Hermandad y dieciocho años de costalero, se rompió para siempre en el Arco después de hacer su último relevo en la Calle Almirantazgo antes de entrar en su cercana capilla de Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
Hoy, 29 de Marzo, se cumplen trece años de este lamentable hecho que marcó la Semana Santa de 1999.

Close to the Arch of the Shutter of the Oil we can see this tile of recognition of the life (and to the death) of a "costalero" (the person who is down the Christ or the Virgin in the spanish Holy Week) of the Holiest Christ of the Waters.
In 1999, the holy Monday of this week, March 29, under the fourth "trabajadera" (one of the six long places to support the height of the religious images) of Christ of the Waters Brotherhood, the costalero Juan Carlos Montes Ruiz suffered a heart attack to few meters of the Arch of the Shutter when already the brotherhood was returning after the pass along the Cathedral.
It was one o'clock in the dark night and the sanitary services did uncultivated efforts for recovering the pulse of the costalero.
The heart of 36-year-old Juan Carlos, number 340 of the Brotherhood and eighteen years of costalero,  broke forever in the Arch after his last relief did in the Street Admiralty before entering his nearby chapel of Our Lady of the Rosario.
Today, on March 29, there are fulfilled thirteen years of this lamentable fact that marked the Holy Week of 1999.
