Los bajos del Puente del Cachorro.

Hace algunas semanas pudimos ver los bajos del Puente del Alamillo. Hoy traemos a este apartado los bajos del Puente del Cristo de la Expiración o puente del Cachorro, otro de los nuevos puentes que nació al abrigo de la Exposición Universal de 1992.
El Puente del Cachorro tiene una estructura de acero, con dos arcos rebajados de 130 metros de luz y sin soporte bajo el agua, que sostiene un tablero de 223 metros de largo y 30,5 de ancho, diseñado por José Luis Manzanares Japón e inspirado en el Puente Alejandro III de París.
La construcción de este puente tuvo una ventaja sobre los demás, se hizo cuando el cauce del río estaba seco permitiendo a la maquinaria trabajar sobre el mismo lecho fluvial sin impedimento alguno.

Some weeks ago we could see the low part of the Bridge of the Alamillo. Today we bring to this paragraph the low one of the Bridge of the Christ of the Expiration or bridge of the Cachorro, other one of the new bridges that was born sheltered by the Universal Exhibition of 1992.
The Bridged of the Cachorro has a structure of steel, with two arches reduced of 130 meters of light and without support under the water, which supports a board of 223 meters of length and 30,5 of width, designed by Jose Luis Manzanares Japón and inspired by the Alejandro III Bridge of Paris.
The construction of this bridge had an advantage on the others, it was done when the riverbed of the river was dry allowing to the machinery to work on the same fluvial bed without any impediment.
