La iglesia de San Gil, a pocos pasos de la Basílica de la Macarena, es una de la iglesias de estilo gótico-mudéjar que se edificaron durante los siglos XIII y XIV. Su torre, de ladrillo, nos recuerda su antiguo fin como mezquita. Con la conquista de Sevilla por las tropas castellanas, se convirtió en iglesia.

San Gil's church, a few steps from the Macarena´s Basilic, is one of the churchs in Gothic-Spanish Muslim style that were built during the XIIIth and XIVth century. His tower, in brick, remembers us his former end as mosque. With the conquest of Seville for the Castilian troops, it turned into church.
