La fuente de la Plaza de España.




Junto al Parque de María Luísa, para la Exposición Iberoamericana de 1929, se construyó este macro edificio llamado la Plaza de España. Justo en el centro de la misma y rodeado por un estanque semicircular, se encuentra la fuente de la foto.
Esta fuente fue muy criticada por algunos porque decían que rompía la estética del edificio.
Sin embargo, hoy es imposible de imaginarse la Plaza de España sin su hermosa fuente.

Close to Maria Luísa's Park, for the Latin-American Exhibition of 1929, this macro building called the Plaza of Spain was constructed. Just in the center of the same one and surrounded by a semicircular small river, one finds the fountain of the photo.
This one was very criticized by some people because they were saying that it was breaking the aesthetics of the building.
Nevertheless, today it is impossible to imagine the Plaza of Spain without the beautiful fountain.

  2. This is a great fountain. These types of fountains are wonderful additions to the pedestrian environment. Everyone likes to linger around a fountain.
