Entre la Calle San Eloy y la Calle O´Donnel hay un pequeño pasaje con el nombre de un histórico de la radio: Manuel Alonso Vicedo.
Alonso Vicedo era subdirector de Radio Sevilla cuando en mayo de 1972 venía con tres compañeros más desde El Puerto de Santa María y tuvieron un accidente de tráfico que malogró sus vidas.
Alonso Vicedo venía de Radio Vida, la gran cantera de la radiodifusión sevillana, la emisora de los jesuitas que luego daría origen a Radio Popular. Se hizo popularísimo desde Radio Vida, siendo Radio Vida poco menos que una emisora parroquial.
A Vicedo se le quedó pequeña Radio Vida y saltó a Radio Sevilla y allí hizo salir la emisora de la Calle González Abreu a la toda la ciudad. Con los Populares de Sevilla y los Famosos de Sevilla, premios que concedía anualmente, Radio Sevilla cada vez tuvo mayor presencia en la ciudad.
En junio del año 2001, la ciudad le tributó un merecido homenaje dándole su nombre a esta calle y perpetuando su imagen en este azulejo.

Alonso Vicedo was an assistant director of Radio Seville when in May, 1972 he was coming with three more collegues from El Puerto de Santa Maria when they had a traffic accident that spoilt their lives.
Alonso Vicedo worked in Radio Vida (Life), the radio of the Jesuits who then would give origin to Popular Radio.
He was very popular in Radio Vida, being this radio less than a parochial radio.
To Vicedo, Radio Vida was small and jumped to Radio Seville, the oldest radio in Seville and there he made go out the radio to the city everything.
With the "Popular people of Seville" and the "Famous of Seville", prizes that he was granting anually, he got major presence in the city.
In June, 2001, the city paid a well-deserved honoring giving his name to this street and perpetuating his image in this ceramic piece.
