El Colegio de Las Esclavas del Divino Corazón es un colegio de carácter religioso que está en el centro histórico de nuestra ciudad. Una de su fachadas está situada en la Calle Jesús de la Veracruz, fachada que, entre otras dependencias, tiene una capilla dedicada al divino Corazón de Jesús.
Es un edificio que llama la atención en su entorno porque su diseño, eminentemente neogótico, sobre sale sobre una calle de casas de estilo regional y edificios más modernos.
Algunos estudiosos han anotado cierta similitud con elementos arquitectónico de nuestra gótica catedral, evidenciando cierta inspiración en la puerta, ventanas o columnas.
