Paseaba por la Calle San Esteban, en tramo de calle que va desde la Iglesia del mismo nombre a Casa Pilatos y me llamó la atención el zaguán de la casa nº 5 de la calle.
Sin duda, ateniendo a la siempre fervorosa religiosidad de nuestra sociedad en los siglos anteriores y a la cruz que corona el farol, el azulejo es posible que represente alguna escena bíblica. ¿El encuentro de Santa Isabel con la Virgen María quizá?
La reja de hierro protege la ventana desde la que se puede ver el interior del zaguán sin necesidad de abrir la puerta de entrada a la casa. Sobre dicha reja también está la cruz cristiana.

I was walking by San Esteban Street, between the church of the same name and Pilatos´s House, and something called my attention, the interior of the house number 5.
Undoubtedly, abiding to always fervent religiousness of our country in the previous centuries and to the cross that crowns the lantern, the image in the wall is possible that i represents some Biblical scene. The meeting of Holy Isabel with the Virgin Mary, perhaps?
The iron grating protects the window from which it is possible to see the interior of the vestibule without need to open the door of entry to the house. On the above mentioned grating also the Christian cross is.
