En la Plaza de la Alfalfa esquina con la Calle San Juan, podemos ver este azulejo en la pared recordando la triste suerte de José Portal Navarro, costalero de San Bernardo quien, al llegar a la plaza de la Alfalfa, le sobrevino un mortal fallo cardiaco a los cuarenta y dos años de edad.
Al año siguiente la hermandad de San Bernardo descubrio este recuerdo en la fachada de uno de los edificios de la plaza, en un acto de fuerte emotividad de todos sus compañeros de las trabajaderas.
Ese Miércoles Santo de 1986, José Portal estaba bajo la imagen del Cristo de la Salud junto a otros veintiocho valientes.

In the Alfalfa Square, in a corner ofthe San Juan Street, we can see this mention in the wall remembering the sad luck of Jose Portal Navarro, "costalero" of San Bernardo Brotherhood who, on having come to the square of the Alfalfa, struck a mortal cardiac failure when he was forty two years old.
On the following year San Bernardo's brotherhood put this recollection in the front of one of the buildings of the square, in an emotional act.
This Holy Wednesday of 1986, Jose Portal was under the image of the Christ of the Health together with other brave twenty-eight.
