El olivo y la paloma.

En la entrada principal del Hotel Barceló Renacimiento de Sevilla, situado en la Isla de la Cartuja a muy pocos pasos del Estadio Olímpico y del Puente del Alamillo, podemos ver esta dualidad entre la tradición y la modernidad, una constante en la vida de Sevilla.
Por un lado un olivo centenario con un tronco rasgado por el viento y la lluvia. por otro un monumento moderno en hierro fundido, una paloma a la que, vistas sus hechuras, le costaría volar.

In the principal entry to the Hotel Barceló Renacimiento of Seville, placed in the Cartuja´s Island, to few steps of the Olympic stadium and the Alamillo´s Bridge, we can see this duality between the tradition and the modernity, a constant in the life of Seville.
On the one hand, a centenary olive tree with a trunk torn by the wind and the rain. For other side, a modern monument made in cast iron, a dove to which, seeing its volume, would be difficult to fly.
