El belén municipal.

Año tras año es una costumbre visitar los belenes que se instalan por toda la ciudad. uno de los más visitados es el de nuestro Ayuntamiento.
Refleja el momento de adoración de los tres Reyes a Jesús. A la izquierda están San josé, la Virgen María y el niño. A la derecha, Melchor, de rodillas, Gaspar y Baltasar.
En primer plano unos pastores con sus ovejas portando alimentos para la familia.

La historia bíblica dice:

En la época del rey Herodes, después de que Jesús naciera en Belén de Judea, los hombres sabios vinieron del oriente a Jerusalén, preguntando: "¿Dónde está el niño que ha nacido rey de los Judios? Observamos su estrella en el cielo, y hemos venido a rendirle homenaje ". 
Cuando el rey Herodes oyó esto, se turbó, y toda Jerusalén con él; y llamando a todos los principales sacerdotes y los escribas del pueblo, les preguntó donde el Mesías había de nacer. Ellos le dijeron: En Belén de Judea, porque así ha sido escrito por el profeta: 'Y tú, Belén, en la tierra de Judá, no eres la menor entre los principales clanes de Judá, porque de ti saldrá un gobernante que apacentará a mi pueblo Israel. "
Entonces Herodes, llamando en secreto a los sabios se enteró por ellos del tiempo exacto en que había aparecido la estrella. Luego los envió a Belén, dijo: "Vayan y averigüen dónde está el niño, y cuando le encontréis, me traeis la noticia para que yo también vaya y le adore." 
Ellos, después de oir al rey, siguieron a la estrella que habían visto, hasta que se detuvo encima del lugar donde estaba el niño. Cuando vieron que la estrella se había detenido, se vieron desbordados de alegría. Al entrar en la casa, vieron al niño con María su madre, y postrándose, le adoraron. Luego, abriendo sus cofres, le ofrecieron regalos: oro, incienso y mirra. Y siendo avisados por revelación en sueños que no volvieran donde Herodes, se retiraron a su país por otro camino.

Year to year is a custom to visit the Christmas cribs that there are install in several place in the city.
One of most visited is in our Town hall.

An the Bible history says:
 
"In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, asking, "Where is the child who has been born king of the Jews? For we observed his star at its rising, and have come to pay him homage."
When King Herod heard this, he was frightened, and all Jerusalem with him; and calling together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Messiah was to be born. They told him, "In Bethlehem of Judea; for so it has been written by the prophet: 'And you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who is to shepherd my people Israel.'"
Then Herod secretly called for the wise men and learned from them the exact time when the star had appeared. Then he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, "Go and search diligently for the child; and when you have found him, bring me word so that I may also go and pay him homage." When they had heard the king, they set out; and there, ahead of them, went the star that they had seen at its rising, until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw that the star had stopped, they were overwhelmed with joy.
On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother; and they knelt down and paid him homage. Then, opening their treasure chests, they offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they left for their own country by another path."
