Gracias al mundo.

En un rincón de los jardines del Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo podemos ver esta obra artística del escultor kuwaití Jafar Islah.
fue realizada en 1992 para la exposición Universal y en ella el autor muestra su agradecimiento a todos los paises que ayudaron militarmente a su país, Kuwait, para liberarse de la invasión del vecino Iraq.

Sobre un fondo de piedra blanca, el artista dibuja palomas de la paz con las banderas de estos paises amigos. En la  base del mismo se puede leer el texto: "Obsequio de la Public Ware Housing Company en agradecimiento a los países que participaron y contribuyeron a la liberación de Kuwait. Jafar Islah. 1991".
El título de la obra es "Gracias al mundo".

In a corner of the gardens of the Andalusian Contemporary Art Center we can see this artistic work of the Kuwait´s sculptor Jafar Gslah that was made in 1991 for the Universal Exhibition and in wich the author shows his gratefulness to all the countries that helped militarily to his country, Kuwait, to be liberated of the invasion of the neighbor Iraq.
On white stone, the artist draws peace doves with the flags of these countries friends. In the base of the same one it is possible to read the text: "A gift from the Public Ware Housing Company in gratitude to the countries who participated and contributed in Kuwait´s liberation. Work by Jafar Islah. 1991".
