In memoriam.

Junto a las antiguas murallas del barrio de la Macarena hay un triste monumento dedicado a una aún más triste ocasión. Allí, el Ayuntamiento de Sevilla, recuerda aquellos sevillanos fusilados junto a estas murallas durante la Guerra Civil Española, en defensa de la República, la libertad y la justicia.

Close to the former walls of the neighborhood of the Macarena, there is a sad monument dedicated to one furthermore sad occasion. There, the Town hall of Seville reminds to the Sevillian citicens that were shot close to these walls during the Spanish Civil war, in defense of the Republic, the freedom and the justice.
