La Iglesia de San Buenaventura.

La Iglesia de San Buenaventura fue construida hacia el año 1622 por el arquitecto Diego López Bueno.

Uno de los mayores artistas de nuestra historia, Francisco Herrera "el viejo" realizó las yeserías y las pinturas al fresco del interior de la iglesia.

El retablo mayor, que vemos en la foto, está presidido por la imagen de la Virgen de la Inmaculada, conocida por el sobrenombre de "la Sevillana".

San Buenaventura's Church was constructed about the year 1622 by the architect Diego Lopez Bueno.

One of the major artists of our history, Francisco Herrera " the old man " realized the plaster-works and the fresco paintings in the interior of the church.
The major altarpiece, which we see in the photo, is presided`por the image of the Virgin of the Inmaculate Conception, known by the nickname of "The Sevillian".
