La Puerta del Perdón.

Desde la calle se accede al Patio de los Naranjos de la Catedral a través de la Puerta del Perdón. Esta puerta es la entrada más antigua de la Catedral puesto que era la entrada principal de la mezquita anterior.
Las hojas de la puerta son de madera revestidas de bronce y están decoradas con lacerías, sobresalen de ella los dos aldabones de bronce fundido y cincelados.
En estas láminas de bronce figura el lema "El poder pertenece a Alá y la eternidad es de Alá".
Aunque se conservó el esplendor anterior, esta puerta fue completada por Bartolomé López con yeserías renacentistas.
Se decoró la fachada con figuras en barro cocido, entre ellas, San Pedro, San Pablo, la Virgen, el Arcangel San Gabriel y un relieve titulado "La expulsión de los mercaderes", todos ellos obra del escultor Miguel Florentín.

From the street you can access to the Orange Court of the Cathedral across the Door of the Pardon. This door is the most ancient entry of the Cathedral because it was the principal entry of the previous mosque.
The leaves of the door are in wood re-dressed in bronze and decorated by ornamentations, there stand out of her both trunk-handles of bronze molten and chiselled.
In these sheets of bronze this motto appears " The power belongs to Allah and the eternity belongs to Allah".
Though the previous brilliance remained, this door was completed by Bartolomé Lopez by Renaissance plaster-works.
The front wall was decorates with figures in baked clay, between them, San Peter, San Paul, the Virgin, the Archangel San Gabriel and a qualified relief " The expulsion of the merchants ", works all of them of the sculptor Miguel Florentín.
