El Niño Jesús.

La procesión del Corpus sevillano es larga y muy completa en imágenes y autoridades.
Esta talla del Niño Jesús sobre andas de plata es una de las que más me gustan de todo el cortejo religiosos. quizá porque representa la candidez de un niño o, quizá, porque nos recuerda a nosotros mismos hace ya algunos años. Era la edad de la inocencia y entonces todo nos parecía novedoso e interesante.
Las manos de Martínez Montañes no pudieron reflejarlo mejor.
Esta talla es propiedad de la Hermandad Sacramental del Sagrario y va en representación de esta Cofradía.

The procession of the Sevillian Corpus is long and very complete in images and authorities. This image of the Child Jesus is one I like in the courtship religious. Probably because it represents the candor of a child or, probably, because he resembles us ourselves already some years ago.
It was the age of the innocence and then everything seemed to be new and interesting. Martínez Montañes's hands could not reflect it better. This image is a property of the Sacramental Brotherhood of the Sacrarium and goes in representation of this Confraternity.
