El trono de San Pedro.

Muy cerca de la Plaza de la Encarnación se encuentra la Iglesia de San Pedro, una de las joyas del estilo gótico-mudéjar de la ciudad. Destaca en ella su alta torre, que, en sus proporciones, nos recuerda a la Giralda.
Su fachada que da a la Plaza de San Pedro tiene un arco de medio punto entre pilastras pareadas y, sobre el arco, se abre una hornacina en la que se halla una estatua en piedra de San Pedro realizada en el año 1624 por Martín Cardino.
Se aprecia también en esta portada una inscripción latina que se dirige a San Pedro de la siguiente manera: "Tú eres el pastor de las ovejas, príncipe de los Apóstoles; a ti han sido dadas las llaves del reino de los cielos".

Next to the Encarnacion Square you can find the San Pedro´s Church, one of the jewels of the style Gothic-Muslim of the city. Stands out in it the high tower, which, in its proportions, resembles us to the Giralda.
The front that is close to San Pedro Square has a round arch between pilasters and, on the arch, a niche is opened where is situated a Saint Pedro statue in stone made in 1624 by Martin Cardino.
You ca see also, in this front wall a Latin inscription that speaks to Saint Pedro in the following way: "You are the shepherd of the sheeps, prince of the Apostles; the keys of the kingdom of the heaven have been given you".
