Una oración en San Gil.

La Iglesia de San Gil es una de las más antiguas de la ciudad.
Se cree que se construyó allá por el siglo XIII, como mezquita, aunque no sería hasta un siglo después cuando fuera remodelada y convertida en lugar de culto cristiano.
El interior sí es más novedoso. En vez de retablo mayor que presida el templo, tenemos un templete neobarroco con la imagen de San Gil en el centro, acompañado de una cervatilla a sus pies.
Los fieles aprovechan la quietud y la paz del interior del templo para rezar sus oraciones en el silencio más absoluto sólo roto por el clic de mi cámara fotográfica.

San Gil's Church is one of the most ancient churches in the city.
It is believed that it was constructed as far back as the 13th century, as mosque, though it would not be up to one century later when it was remodelled and turned instead of Christian worship.
The interior of the church is newest. Instead of major altarpiece that presides at the temple, we have a baroque revival smal temple with San Gil's image in the center accompanied by a deer on his feet.
The parishioners are, in the quietude and the peace of the interior of the temple, to pray in the most absolute silence just break by the click of my camera.
