La bandera europea.

Junto al Puente del Alamillo está situada la llamada Glorieta Olímpica. La Glorieta Olúmpica es una rotonda en la confluencia de dos grandes avenidas que fue construida para dar cabida a un gran mástil sobre el que ondea al viento una gran bandera olímpica.
Este mástil ha sido utilizado para instalar en él banderas de todo tipo en función de las necesidades de la ciudad. En la actualidad y hasta el próximo mes de Junio, ondeará la bandera europea, en honor a la presidencia del gobierno español durante los próximos seis meses.

Close to the Alamillo Bridge, the so called Olympic Round is placed. It is a round in the confluence of two great avenues that was constructed to give content to a great mast on the one a great Olympic flat waves to the wind .
This mast has been used to install in it flags of all kinds depending on the needs of the city. At present and until the next June, it will wave the European flag, in honor to the presidency of the Spanish government during the next six months.
