This narrow street is called the Callejón del Agua (Alley of the Water). It is part of the studding alley that they form the Barrio of Santa Cruz. The left wall belongs to the gardens of the Alcazar.
The Jews and Arabs designed it this way. As the rest of streets of the neighborhood, this street is narrow to preserve the people of the heat, so that the beams of the Sun strange penetrate in them in a lot of time.

The Alley of the Inqusición is a narrow passage that communicates Castilla Street with the Walk of the Virgin of the O, on the banks of the river Guadalquivir.
It is calles so because it was forming a part of the neighbor Castillo of San Jorge, where our inquirers lived and applied the divine justice to the mortal people of little faith.
The history is dark.

Olor a incienso.
