La Plaza del Cabildo está formada por un edificio que tiene forma semicircular frente a uno de los restos de las antiguas murallas que quedan en nuestra ciudad. En el centro de la misma y junto a dicha muralla, podemos ver esta refrescante fuente de piedra blanca.
La Plaza y el mismo edificio ocupan el sitio que, en su momento, ocupaba el Colegio de San Miguel, perteneciente al Cabildo de la Catedra, ente del quien toma su nombre la plaza.

The Cabildo Square is formed by a building with semicircular form opposite to one of the remains of the former muslim walls that stay in our city. In the center of the same one and close to the above mentioned wall, we can see this refreshing fountain made in white stone.
The square and same building occupy the yplace that, in that moment, was occupying b the College of San Miguel, belonging to the Chapter of the Cathedral, institution from where takes the square name.
