I was walking along the famous Pumarejo Square when I repaired in this door of, at first, military appearance where there is a  check-point control between Israel and Palestine in the point of Bethlehem.
Then I approached and discovered a small ceramic plate in the wall where was reflecting the real sense of this establishment for meeting and debate, it was the so called "House of the Peace" that belongs to pacific and antimilitarists organizations as MOC (Objección's of Conscience Movement), "Women in black" and "Network Peace".

The front wall of the current building of the University´s Rector and  former Tabacos's Factory of Seville,  occupies a great part of the San Fernando Street. Inside the enclosure of the Factory, in turn, there are two small buildings that happen a bit unnoticed before the big size of the principal building. One of them, the nearest to the Four Stations Fountain, is a church where the Student´s Religious Brotherhood resides.
Other one, that is close to the Alfonso XIII Hotel, is nowadays the Department of Universal Modern and Contmporary History belonged o the Faculty of History.
But ... what was this building before?. As we can read in a ceramic plate that is in the wall at the entry of the same one, this building was the jail for the workers of Tabacos's Factory, a special penal jurisdiction that was applied to these employees when they were deciding to solve his griefs out of the legality.
Today there remain the jails and galleons that at that time were using as special home for the delinquents. The top floor was reserved for the employees with major social range.

The Dressmaker of the Queen is a small building of hexagonal plant with castle form placed at the edge of the Gardens of San Telmo's Palace wherefrom it was forming a part in his origin.
It was ordered to construct for Antonio of Orleans, Duke of Montpensier, who was married to the Infanta Maria Luisa Fernanda de Borbón, sister of the Queen Isabel II.
The legend tells that the Queen Maria de las Mercedes, due to his delicate bill of health, was spending long moments in his interior together with his bridesmaids sewing. But it is impossible since the above mentioned Queen died years before the building be constructing in 1893.

If yesterday I was presenting the Fine arts Museum inside, today I bring a photo of the building outside. A photo in which you can distinguish clearly the place that occupies the church of the former convent. The belfry stays to the left side and the cruise of the church to the right.

The Fine Arts Museum of Seville is the second most important art gallery museum of Spain. His building is a jewel because it was an authentic convent which church, now turned into one of the rooms, is necessary to see it.
Between others, we can see art works of Velazquez, The Greco, Zurbarán, Murillo, Alonso Cano, Torrigiano, Martínez Montañés or Valdés Leal. But the important thing is to submerge in an environment of so value artist works that they are considered classic in the books of history.

.
At the doors of the former Law Faculty of Seville we can see this small monument with the sphere of our world indicating the five continents in it.
Really it is difficult to call your attention between the trees of the gardens, but if we approach to it we can enjoy the sensation of having the world in our hands ... though it is metaphorically.

.
In the principal entry to the Hotel Barceló Renacimiento of Seville, placed in the Cartuja´s Island, to few steps of the Olympic stadium and the Alamillo´s Bridge, we can see this duality between the tradition and the modernity, a constant in the life of Seville.
On the one hand, a centenary olive tree with a trunk torn by the wind and the rain. For other side, a modern monument made in cast iron, a dove to which, seeing its volume, would be difficult to fly.
