Capirotes para nazarenos.

Llegando la Semana Santa, los penitentes arreglan sus túnicas y sus capirotes. Aquí os presento a una tienda  que elabora capirotes para los nazarenos. Lo importante es medir el contorno de nuestra cabeza para personalizarlo.

Coming the Holy Week, the penitents arrange their tunics and hoods. Here I present to you shop for elaborating hoods for the Nazarenes. The important thing is to measure the contour of our head to personalize it.

Persianas de esparto.

En el barrio de Triana podemos encontrar esta casa con sus persianas de esparto, al modo antiguo.

In Triana's neighborhood we can find this house with her blinds of esparto, to the ancient way.

Patio andaluz.

A veces, cuando paseas por el centro de Sevilla, te encuentras alguna casa con sus puertas abiertas y te permite admirar cómo son los patios andaluces por dentro. Éste de la foto, además de estar decorado con multitud de plantas, expresa la fe de sus propietarios mediante la cruz colgada en la pared de la derecha.

Sometimes, when you walk along the historical Seville, you meet some house with her opened doors and it allows yourself to admire how are the Andalusian courts within. This one of the photo, beside being decorated by multitude of plants, it expresses the faith of its owners by means of the cross hung on the wall of the right.

Balcones de Triana.

Esta es una imagen muy peculiar del barrio de Triana. En la calle Bernardo Guerra y junto a la Iglesia de Santa Ana podemos disfrutar de esta vivienda con sus balcones repletos de macetas con plantas.

This one is a very peculiar image of Triana's neighborhood. In the street Bernardo Guerra and close to the Church of Holy Ana we can enjoy this house with its balconies replete with handles plants.

Hoy inauguramos el metro.

Esta es una imagen del moderno tranvía que corretea las calles peatonales del centro de la ciudad.
Aunque su trayecto todavía es corto (se pretende ampliar) cada día tiene más adeptos.
Pero le va a salir un duro competidor, en el día de hoy entrará en funcionamiento la primera línea del metro de Sevilla. Ya os hablaré de ella.
Serán 18 kilómetros de vías, 22 paradas, 18 de ellas subterráneas y un paso por debajo del Río Guadalquivir.

This it is an image of the modern streetcar that pursues the streets of the center of the city. Though its distance still is short (it is tried to extend) every day has more followers.
But it will have a hard rival, today we shall know the first line of Seville's underground. I shall tell you about it in the future.

El Monte Gurugú.

¿Quién lo iba a decir? Unas cataratas en el centro de Sevilla.

Esta imagen está tomada en el Parque de María Luisa, en un punto llamado "Monte Gurugú" en honor a un monte que existe en las cercanías de la ciudad africana de Melilla.

Lógicamente la catarata de agua es artificial, pero sirve para refescar el ambiente y para juego de los niños.

Who was going to say it? A few cataracts in the center of Seville.

This image is taken in María Luisa's park, in a point called "Monte Gurugú" in honor to a mount that exists in the surroundings of the Melilla's African city.

Logically the water cataract is artificial, but it(he,she) serves for refreshing the environment and for game of child.
