Some weeks ago we could see the excellent arch door of the 1929 Latin-American Exhibition, San Diego's door.
In it, we have to Hispania in the center. To both sides we can find the magnificent statues of two meters of height, realized by Perez Comendador.
They are early and juvenile works, where already shows his interest for the classic form, which he gave them the name of "the Sky of Seville and"the Earth of Seville".
At the right side, as it looks, the statue represented a young woman with tunic, carries in her right hand a small figure of the Inmaculate Conception, symbolized the spiritual wealth of Seville.
At the left side the statue represents the material wealth of Seville, by means of a young woman who carries in her left hand spikes of wheat and cluster of grapes, and in the right, fruits.
