The history tells that we learned in the school time that Publio Elio Adriano was born in Italic on January 24, year 76 p.C. and died in Bayas on June 10, year 138.
He was known officially during his reign as "Imperator Caesar Divi Traiani filius Traianus Hadrianus Augustus", and "Divus Hadrianus" after his deification and consequent raise to the imperial altars.
Also the history tells that  the commonly known as Adriano, was an emperor of the Roman Empire for twenty-one years, from 117 up to his death).
It was the third of the five good emperors and the second of the Hispanic emperors, what many people do not know or have the sufficient historical-warlike references, it is that during the empire of this stoic philosopher, the Roman empire reached the major dimension never reached by the Romans taking the borders to the Britannia, to the Germannia, all the north of Africa, Judea, Egypt, coming up to the limits of Mesopotamia to whose conquest resigned for considering it to be indefensible for the human and economic cost that supposed.
In the Archaeological Museum of Seville we can see his bust. At the height of the chest there is a relief of the head of the Gorgone Jellyfish, element that he liked to show like indicatively of his divine origin.
On the left shoulder it takes thrown the imperial mantle lit by a great fíbula (clasp). The sculpture, realized between 135-140 A.D., comes from Italic.
