Juan de Triana.

Triana, además de reflejarse en las aguas del río con sus casas de colores y de ser tierra de grandes artistas, cantaores, toreros y gente de mucha guasa y salero, también es tierra de rapsodas y poetas.
Allá, por el número 14 de la trianera Calle Pureza (antes número 16), podemos ver este azulejo dedicado a uno de los artistas de la palabra en verso más preclaros que ha dado este barrio de Sevilla.
Armando Gutiérrez, más conocido con el sobrenombre de "Juan de Triana", fue (además de pregonero de la Velá de Santa Ana que era su sueño), como dice el azulejo, un poeta que difundió las verdades artísticas de nuestra tierra y ayudó a divulgar el sentir artístico andaluz por los teatros de España.
Publicó un sólo libro en su vida, "Flor de papel" donde reflejó su producción artística de toda una vida.

Triana, beside to reflect in the waters of the river the houses of differents colors and of being land of big artists, flamenco singers, bullfighters and graceful people, also is a land of poets.
There, for the number 14 of the Triana´s  Pureza Street (before number 16), we can see this ceramic dedicated to one of the artists of the verse more illustrious that has given this neighborhood of Seville.
Armando Gutiérrez, more known with the nickname of "Juan de Triana", was as says the ceramic, a poet who spread the artistic truths of our land and helped to tell the artistic Andalusian feeling along all the theatres of Spain.
He published only one book in his life, "Paper Flower" where it reflected his artistic production of the his whole life.
