Son las murallas mejor conservadas que quedan en Sevilla.
Están en el barrio de la Macarena y afortunadamente pervivieron al periodo expansivo de la ciudad en los siglos XVIII y XIX.

They are in the Macarena´s neighborhood and lucky lived to the expansive period of the city in the XVIIIth and XIXth century.

Interesting - apparently they once thought of demolishing the old city walls in York. We're so glad they didn't!
