.
The front door of San Marco's Church is of ends of the 15th century, of Gothic style, realized in stone and with archivolts, being exteriors (the first and last) decorated with the characteristic teeth of saw or diamond tops.
To both sides it possesses small figures on pedestals and in the top front a horizontal band shows decoration with sections of sebka, Mudejar influence. It constitutes undoubtedly one of the most interesting front doors in this type of churches in the city, and his beauty stands out on the front of brick with that constructs the front wall.

  1. Hola!

I was in Seville three years ago and I fell in love with it. Thanks for writing in both English and Spanish. I'm learning Spanish now and it helps. Great blog! :) Muchas gracias!

  2. It's a magnificent doorway indeed. Thank you for pointing out the "teeth" of the archway. I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise.
