Amarrando barcas.



En la orilla del Río Guadalquivir aún podemos ver algunos aros como los de la foto. Desde muy antiguo, el río ha sido navegable hasta su desembocadura en la costa de Cádiz.
Los barcos y barcas pequeñas, cuando estaban varados en la orilla, eran sujetados por fuertes cuerdas a las paredes. Estos aros hacían de ancla de amarre a los mismos.

In the Guadalquivir Shore we can see some hoops as this of the photo.
From very ancient, the river has been navigable up to the river mouth on the coast of Cadiz. The ships and small boats, when they were beached in the shore, were held by strong ropes to the walls, to these hoops.
