Alcázar (47): El Patio de Banderas.

El Patio de Banderas es llamado así porque era un patio de armas, destinado a reunir allí a los soldados, cada uno bajo la bandera de su regimiento.
El Patio de Banderas era también el lugar elegido por los reyes para presentarse al pueblo una vez que habían sido coronados.
Actualmente es un patio rodeado de edificios que fueron lugar de residencia de los funcionarios del Alcázar.
Los arqueólogos están levantando el suelo del patio para sacar a luz vestigios de edificios árabes.

Alcazar (47): The Court of the Flags.

The Court of Flags is called it because it was a court of weapon, destined to to bring together there the soldiers, each one under the flag of his regiment.
The Court of Flags was also the place chosen by the kings to appear to the village as soon as they had been crowned.
Nowadays it is a court surrounded with buildings that were a place of residence of the civil servants of the Alcazar.
The archeologists are raising the flour of the court to extract to light vestiges of Arabic buildings.
